ASCENDANCIFY / LEGAL
Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 27, 2026.
1. Introduction
This policy describes how Ascendancify processes information when you use our app, website, and email support. Ascendancify provides fitness progression, Movement Quest, QRI competition, user progression analytics, and a Bible reader.
2. Information we collect
Information depends on the features you use. It includes account and onboarding information, training and activity records, competitive progression, and information you provide when contacting support. Some records are processed in cloud services; others are primarily stored on your device.
3. Account information
We may process your email address, Firebase account identifier (UID), username, and profile or onboarding selections to create and manage your account.
4. Training and fitness information
We may process your training plan, assigned exercises, reps and sets, training targets, exercise and workout completion, workout progression, streaks, and progression history. This is physical and fitness activity information.
5. Movement information
Movement Quest uses Android movement and step sensing on assigned training days. Information may include steps, activity/session summaries, movement duration, and estimated distance. Distance is estimated from movement/step tracking, not measured by GPS. Session summaries may be used to verify rewards. Raw accelerometer samples are not intentionally uploaded as part of normal movement reward claims.
6. QRI and leaderboard information
We may process QRI Balance, Lifetime QRI, QRI version/state, reward events, leaderboard placement, and badge, tag, or nameplate information. QRI Balance is an app balance; Lifetime QRI is the competitive ranking value. Spending QRI does not reduce Lifetime QRI.
7. Bible reading information
Chapter progress, bookmarks, highlights, and last reading position are primarily stored locally. They should not be assumed to synchronize across devices or accounts. The reader currently uses WEB-labelled Bible text.
8. Device and local storage
The app uses SQLite and other local device storage. Local information may include Bible state, detailed workout/progression history, analytics, preferences, and raw movement sensor readings. Some local state may remain after sign-out or account deletion. Device or operating-system backup and restore systems may separately copy or restore locally stored information; local storage does not mean information can never leave the device.
9. How we use information
We use information to authenticate accounts, personalize training, track progression, verify rewards, calculate QRI, operate the leaderboard, restore or synchronize supported records, provide support, and protect backend requests and service integrity. In-app Analytics primarily means your progression analytics, such as streaks, missed days, workout trends, consistency, and QRI activity—not advertising analytics.
10. Authentication and cloud services
Firebase Authentication authenticates accounts. Authentication tokens are used to authenticate backend requests. Supabase and Supabase Edge Functions support profile synchronization, progression data, reward verification, leaderboard functionality, supported cloud restoration/synchronization, security, and request processing. Not every app record is synchronized. Service operation and security may involve diagnostic or operational records.
11. Public leaderboard information
If you participate in the competitive leaderboard, other users or visitors may see your public username, numeric placement, Lifetime QRI, and badge/tag/nameplate. The public leaderboard does not present your email, Firebase UID, authentication tokens, private account information, or spendable QRI Balance.
12. Service providers
Service providers include Firebase Authentication, Supabase and its Edge Functions, and Google Play infrastructure where applicable. Android supplies device sensor and backup capabilities. Providers process information for their respective service functions and under applicable terms. No active advertising system or Advertising ID use has been identified in the current product. Movement Quest does not use GPS distance tracking. Current functionality does not require contacts, camera, microphone, or photo/video uploads.
13. Security
We use authentication and backend security controls to protect accounts and requests. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Keep credentials confidential and contact support about suspected unauthorized access. Do not send passwords, authentication tokens, or verification codes by email.
14. Data retention
Account-associated information is retained as needed to operate the service, provide support, protect security, and meet applicable legal requirements. Following deletion, some information may temporarily remain in backups, security or operational logs, or where legal/security retention applies. Local device storage and OS backups are separate considerations. There is no single published retention period for all records.
15. Account deletion
You can use the account deletion flow in the app or request deletion externally by email. Deletion attempts to remove your account and associated data from active Ascendancify systems; it does not guarantee immediate erasure from every backup, log, or device. Signing out ends the authenticated session and does not delete your account or local/cloud history.
16. Age requirements
The current app includes an 18+ acknowledgment and is intended for adults who meet applicable age requirements. This acknowledgment is not government-ID age verification. Contact us if you believe an account or information has been provided contrary to these requirements.
17. Your choices and rights
You can contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or information about your data. Depending on your location, applicable law may provide additional rights, including objection or restriction of certain processing. We may need to verify account ownership and explain applicable exceptions. Device settings control sensor permissions and backup behavior; restricting permissions may affect Movement Quest.
18. International processing
Cloud service providers may process or store information outside your country. Applicable protections and rights can differ by location. Contact us with questions about processing or your applicable rights.
19. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when functionality or processing changes. The revision date identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate website or app notice where required.
